Hi
PP gurus
When I am executing the t codes cs02 and cs03 in DEV and PRD too, system givnig the error message as BOM does not exits?
It is seen for almost all materials which were being used for several months in so many Prod. Orders.
I could not understand that for the same material in Prd. Order BOM the components are being seen and in routing too, in CompAllow view also the BOM components are seen but for the header materia,l on CS02/CS03 execution, system is showing as BOM does not exists. WHY?!!!!
Please help me out
Thanks & Regards
MDS.
Dear MDS,
Are you trying to modify/check the BOM details using CS02 and CS03 respectively for the
components or else the assembly?
In case if you are checking for the BOM components then only if a BOM exists the system will show
and in case if it's an assembly, then check by removing the valid from and to date in these
transaction codes and check what is the impact.
check and revert back.

Go to tables, MAST, STKO, STPO using transaction code SE16N and analyze.

Hi
As informed by Mr. Avinash and as per your statement, as this is happening for all materials in the plant, so may be the reason is valid to date is in past to today's date.
Check valid to date and change it to future date then check.

Sharat

Hi Subhani,
One probability that we see this error is, the BOMS were created or changed with a change number. And the validity period of these change numbers has ended. And the validity period of the change number(with which BOM was created or changed) is something which will governs the validity of the BOM.
You can try table STKO to find out the change number assigned to the BOM. And use CC03 to find out the validity period of the BOM.

Avinash.
