Hello SAP experts,
we have 5 marketing sets and about 70 marketing attributes in our CRM 7.0. Between 5 and 25 attributes are assigned to the 5 sets, but each attribute is only assigned to one set. In the SAP standard it is only possible to restrict the permission to display or change attribute "sets" in the business partner, it is not possible to restrict the permission for a single "attribute" in one specific attribute set. But this is what we need: We want to allow a special user only to display/change for example 2 of the 5 attributes in a set.
This is why we thought if it is possible to assign attribute A and B not only to set C, where they are already assigned and which cannot be seen by this user, but also to the new set D where this special user has the permission to display/change.
However, somebody told me that it is not possible to assign attributes to more than one attribute set, because this can create inconsistencies in the database. Is this correct? The system allows to assign an attribute to more than one set, I tried this in our development system.
Thank you very much for any useful information!
Best regards,
