Reassignment in Funds Management

Hi:

I am working on reassignment in FM. I have around 100 FI document posted with a wrong fund centers. I want to change them fund center to the correct ones, I have never configured reassignment before, in FMCB when i give prerequisites in document selection and receiver account assignment i have entered just Fund center , upon execution in test run  system is showing nothing and there test run is highlighted with red . Please guide me, is is appearing because of some missing configuration ?

Hi Atif,

FMCB does not require customization. You select the document which you can further view in FMCR transaction and then execute the reassignment via FMCT. Only if you do mass reassignment (FMCG) you would require a reassignment strategy customized.

Hi Eli:

Can we change fund center in document posted through FI ? I read somewhere that only commitments can be changed for the their account assignments. In FMCB i am facing the same error for single FI document. In order to do mass change i tried FMCG and have developed a derivation strategy in FMYC with the fields shown in picture , when i execute it i face the same error Test run in red.

I am following OSS note 1609379 to test reassignment since legacy data will need reassignment of fund center, commitment items, fund and Grants.

Please correct if am wrong on my last line.

Yes, you can change FI document assignment. Why do you maintain FMYC? As I said, FMCB does not require it.

Hi:

As i told you i am getting the error when i execute FMCB in test run for an FI document . No error description is given and just test run is highlighted with red. You can see attached screen of FMCB in which i give prerequisites , this is why i thought of using FMCG with derivation strategy definition in FMYC.

Hi Eli:

Having executed above program with parameter shown earlier i get nothing but a blank screen . You can see , i do not know what is causing this error , that is why i developed derivation strategy in FMYC for reassignment of mass document with the fields given in my second last post but despite of the fact that derivation was working when i tested in FMYC , it did nothing in FMCG . Might be my soruce and target fields are wrong , if yes then please correct me.

Did you switch off the flag 'Show errors only'? I guess, not...

Hi Eli:

Yes i did it many times with no success , however issue seems progressing towards resolution because i found the link http://scn.sap.com/thread/1967460  in which there have been instructed to activate BADI FMCH, i got the necessary work done from ABAPER now system showing the green as shown in screen shot but FI document still showing the old fund center in line item .

By running FMCB you only create a worklist, which you can view (FMCR) or delete (FMCD). Execution of reassignment itself is done with FMCT transaction.
