Hello Everyone

          I have  put mrp type VB ,Lot size FX ,Reorder Point  500;Fixed lot size   600 nad Individual/co 2 in mrp 4 and stock is below reorderin point but still not pr

is not genereted through md50 as well as md02

how to generet pr for reordering point

Dear Sushant,

Run MRP using T.Code MD03 and check the results in MD04.

Dear Sushant,

Check with these MRP control parameters, 1,3,1,3,1 and also ensure no plant specific material status

which blocks for MRP/Purchasing is not set in the material master.

Also ensure that there is no other procurement proposal exists in the system for the mentioned material

in MD04.Only if the stock is less than the reorder point and no other procurement proposal exists,then

MRP run through MD03 will propose a new PR.

Hi Sushant,

Also check your procurement type it should be 'F' as you are looking for Purchase Requisition. That is you are running MRP with 'Create Purchase Req.' should be either 2 or 3.

Now I am doubtful, because initially you said you are running with MD02(which is single item and Multi-level) which we generally use for Materials that are to be produced in-house. And in this case you were looking for PR. Now if your Material is a In-House produced Material then use MD02 with 'Create Purchase Req.' = 3(Planned Order).

And in this case you should be looking for Planned Order.

Please check accordingly depending in-house or Externally Procured. If it is Both(Procurement type = X) then also you must run MRP with and expectation generating Planned Order.

Hi Sushant,

Please have a check in MD04 if you already have any open Incoming Receipt(PR or Purchase Order). Or since you mentioned Indvid/Coll indicator as ' 2'(Check for any Planned Order or Open Production Order).

The settings that you have given is pretty much fine. Check and revert !!
