Restrict gl account posting

Is there any way to restrict credit posting manually to any GL account in SAP?

Hi..

You can tick the check box at the GL account (FS00) that mark as "allow for auto posting only". But I think you can not restrict only credit posting selectively.

we have only option to block for posting for a GL account, for this specific requirement you can create a validation rule in GGB0 and activate this validation rule in OB28,

Please check the image , like that way you can create the validation i have tested the same its working fine

Prerequisites

BKPF-BUKRS = '9100' AND

BSEG-HKONT = '113131'

Check

BSEG-BSCHL = '40'

give the error message also

Hi Shihab,

I have tried to do the same for testing in fb01l.

Can you please show me the message variable that you put. I am putting

1. BKPF-BUKRS( FOR COMPANY CODE)

2.BEG-HKONT(for account type )

3.BEG-BSCHL( for posting key)

the validation is not  going through pls help
