Hi,

why is that i see only FI GL(general ledger) under BI content and i dont se any std content for FI-SL??

how would i know which cube to use?

i need to bring in data for the summary totals.

can someone tell me which std cubes to use.

Hi, can some tell me whats the difference for totals record data source and line item data source? and how wud i know which data source to pick i went through the help documemtation but didnt really help.

Hi!

normally total record Datasources deal with header level details and line item means each detailed record. There is not much content available for FISL this is because special ledger implementation varies from company to company .

for example take a customer order where the header data is name of the customer and total amount and so on..

where as the line items defines Each product and its quantity under the order. This is just a rough explanation .
