BEx Workbook Error

I'm recieving an error while refreshing a workbook:

"Warning Query was changed Element Aug Update Plan Final Plan 01 2004 - 12 2004"

I'm trying to figure out what exactly this means. Any input ?

Fran

Hi Fran,

This means that the underlying query (upon which the workbook is based) has been changed. Do you have a selection called "Aug Update Plan Final Plan 01 2004 - 12 2004" in this query? Can you ahead and refresh the workbook...else you may need to reinsert this query.

Hope this helps...

"Aug Update Plan Final Plan 01 2004 - 12 2004" must be there in your query, may not be there in the workbook. How many queries do you have in this workbook? Is it possible for you to reinsert the query?

I dont see it in the query definition. I'm not too skilled with workbooks. How do I reinsert the query? i can try to do it in Prod, or else if i dont have auth, i'll do it in D and move it. Thanks

Well if you cannot see it in the query, may be the change is that this has been deleted from the query, but is still there in the workbook. Try this: after you refresh the query and get results, try to do a Save As Existing Workbook for this workbook. Then close and open it again...you should get the message now.

Hope this helps...

think i'm getting to the problem. I saved the new workbook and compared it with the old one. There is an additional CKF in the old one. But that CKF also exists in the query definition. However, its now showing in the result set. Maybe its associated with some text variables or something, I dont know. what do you suggest. Why could it not be appearing in the result set????

In your old workbook (the one that was giving the message), open and refresh it and go to change query > local...see if this CKF is hidden.
