BP 614 Item 001 WBS element budget almost exhausted

Hi All,

When I try to post CATA, I get a message that  "BP 614 Item 001 WBS element budget almost exhausted'' and it does not post the items.

How is it that posting does not happen even if its almost exhausted? The following are the measures I have applied:

- I ran CJEN and CJBN.

- Responsible person is assigned to the WBS element.

I am stuck as I do not know which other checks I need to put in place.

Please assist.

Dear Phalane,

please check report S_ALR_87013558 - Budget/Actual/Commitmt/Rem.Plan/Assg.

this will show exact information about any WBS. if some data inconsistency than run CJEN for database reconstruction.

after this check available budget in this report.

Hi Una,

In addition to above inputs, just check from HR master data if person responsible maintained in WBS element is not in Terminated status.

If system does not find valid person responsible mail address for sending budget warning message,it converts messages into Error and further does not allow user to save the transaction.

Hi Una,

Check again for person responsible field for the budgeted WBS.

Check tolerance limit (SPRO->PS->Cost-> Budget).
