Error 503 occurred during SUP Workflow App execution.

Dear Friends

    Good morning,

     I have recently develop flight demo HYBRID application on SUP and deploy it. I am running this on Android Emulator. 

Demo is like I have develop one MBO from BAPI_FLIGHT_GETLIST, I can see the data in preview.

No problem is When I am running this app on Android emulator, it works well with first screen where I can see the static choices in choice control. but problem starts when I select airline and press Get flight from the menu. I get error 503.

503 is connection lost / EIS is not available or down. but its not the case SAP is working very well. I dont understand how to solve this error or what causes it. please help me to resolve this error.

Does the HWC connect with the server at all? Did you check the logs to qualify? Did you check the connection template if the settings are correct? Not that it is overwriting the client settings you manually entered with some bogus data from the templete.

Yes its connected with the server. Please check the image followed by the message. theres no problem with connection template.. I can see the first screen in the mobile device. I have a problem of 503 only when I am requesting back to the SAP Server for the data. I feel theres a problem with device emulator.

Hi Naim,

i tried the same app on android emulator and it worked.

let me share the steps what i followed:

1. while creating MBO i selected following fields:

    

2. create a new Personalization key

  

3. right click on MBO

  go to attributes>Load Arguments

map the AIRLINE argument to new created personalization key

  

3. deploy the MBO

4. created a new workflow editor.. (selected as can be started on demand from client)

  here, we have start screen by default.

  then drag and drop MBO from left hand side.

4. go to start screen

  create a choice control to the same.

set the properties like below:

5. create a new menu getlist

set the properties:

6. go to personalization key mappings

6. generate the workflow. deploy your project to android emualator.

Hi Naim,

can you please share the snapshot of the Get Flight Menu properties and error message?

Error 503 means that your device is getting problem while connecting to server.

restarting your computer might help you.
