Hi,

Good question, same thing i have already asked to your sales management team

the reason why we are not making the in the date is because we have to consider the baklog orders ..we are maintaining 2 month as back log which means for us we have the orders with requ. date nov and december active in system along with future demand..in some cases, though the sales order req. in dec , teh supply will be only in next month due to capacity ..

thanks,

Vijesh

Hello

What do you mean by system is creating PR without considering the lead time?

Did you check the requisition opening date? If the opening date is in the past, the planned delivery time was considered but you allow orders to start in the past, so you need to check the vale of the setting "start in the past" in the customizing transaction OPPQ.

Another possibility is that there is a smaller planned delivery time on the info record or contract.

Hi,

when the start in the past is disabled, system considered the plnd delivery time and created PR considering the lead time which is correct ..but there are some sales order which is past dated for the same planned order is creating separately dated as of today where as for the future SO , there is another planned order

i have selected monthly lot size.. what i need is all the planned orders should be in the same month but only one planned order for one month ... as we are creating only one PO for all the orders..

thanks help

do you consider this as a accurate "..but there are some sales order which is past dated"

Wouldn't it make much more sense to adjust the dates to something meaningful?

put correct dates into the sales order - then see the result

Yes , it is working when am changing the date

but scenario is different for manual re-order point planning, system is creating only one planned order though sales orders are in past ..below the details ..so only issue will be in MTO planning where system will create different planned orders based on past and current sales orders

thanks to comment

Hi Vijesh,

That's Correct as per Standard SAP, For Eg If for a material there doesn't exist enough material to confirm.

System generates the PR at Schedule Line. At the Very Same time while saving the Order.

Thus Its Correct!! Though Check your Availability Scope as well.

Hi Rahul,

thanks for the quick response but we have minimum lead time for 30 days to procure packaging

system should consider the same whenever the PR is getting released, please let me know where i can do the settings

thanks,

Vijesh
