Dear all,
When I start ./sapinst in SUSE, it always indicates error: product.catalog is not a valid control.xml.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Tim, not familiar with the error but a quick search of SCN provides some older threads about the same error message that might still be relevant (2 of which are on SUSE):

Probably an issue with the install files. Try redownloading and/or decompress directly on the Linux box.
