can we create automatic sales order after project creation?

Hi,

Is there any possibility to create automatic Sales Order from project.

using Sales Pricing I can create quotation and billing plan.

but is it possible to create sales order automatically, same as we create project through sales order in assembly processing.

Regards.

I think there is no possiblity for doing such thing in standard SAP. Even if you think of doing it, there are lot of data which needs to fill in sales order such as item details, shipping and billing details and so on.

Even we think of some automation for example: trigger VA01 transaction as soon as you are saving CJ20N, then you will need to arrange to flow all these details from somewhere(custom tables etc), to sales order screen.

    Hi

Besides Mahendra's comment, I did not see yet to have standard templates to create Sales Order like we do for project creation using standard templates. Offcourse system let you to create a new sales order referencing previuous one.

This is kind of reverse flow and not sure. I don't know SAP might come up with new ideas as our friend thought. Who knows what is going to heppen in future, we never know. Its good thought but you can ignore for some time now.

Unless you go for full blown development it is not possible.
