Creating bulk customer equipment cards

Hi Everyone

I wonder if you use DTW.

If so do you know how to create several customer equipment cards without actually raising a sales order.

Is this possible to do using the OINS template. ie use the last unique customer equipment card no, and then just generate them.

In terms of removing several customer equipment cards, do you know if this is possible to do in one go.

Hi Fred,

Yes. OINS template is to be used by DTW to import CEC to B1. To remove several CEC in one batch, you need add-on or SDK.

Would you be able to answer the following:

Can you create new customer equipment cards using the OINS template?

I am currently using the last unique customer equipment card reference eg 300822

Then adding 300823, 300824 etc in the Customer Equipment Num field and then tried to import this but got loads of errors. My aim obviously was to create customer equipment cards and then edit them once on the system.

You cant just give insID in the template. Some mandatory fields have to be there. CEC means customer equipment cards.

I have used the OINS template with a card code along with the unique sap code and it is not creating new equipment cards

I want to be able to create these in bulk

At least an Item must in with a valid serial number.
