workflows do not disappear from the user inbox.

Hi Workflow Gurus,

I got one issue in the workflow,when i checked the user inbox using SWI5 it showing around 100+ work items.when i checked in users SBWP it is showing 600+ work items.and the issue is  after execution of wok items from the user inbox(SBWP) ,those are not disappearing from the his inbox.

Please help on this issue.

Hello,

Look in the workflow log (SWI1, or go via SWI5) to see exactly what has happened to one of the workitems that was supposed to have completed.

Thanks Arghadip and  Rick  for your valuable suggestions.

And the solution is the user(user1) is substituted with other 4 users so the no.of WI count in the SWI1 and SBWP shows differ.And the workflows are related to PO comment workflows when the user (user1)comment on the WF he needs to send to other user(user2) ,that other user(user2) is active substitute with first user(user1) so that is the reason the WF still showing in the user inbox.

Probably the user has not executed the workitem properly. Please check whether there is any terminating event associated with those workitems that should be triggered automatically.  Alalyse the workflow log and act accordingly.

the number of workitem appearing more than what is in SWI5 is due to the fact the user is maintained as a substitute of another user. Check table HRUS_D2
