DB Connect for MSS (SQL Server)

Hi there

We are running BW 3.5 on AIX-UNIX servers and I am wondering if we can establish a DBConnect for an external SQL Server as I am reading that BW server requires a SQL Server client installation and I don't think Microsoft has client software for non-windows systems.

Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated.
