Upgrade to Netweaver 7.31 (from Netweaver 7.01) with SEM Add-on installed

Hi,

my question is regarding upgrade to Netweaver 7.31 (and SEM-BW Add-on 7.36).

Our current release is Netweaver 7.01 and SEM-BW 604 installed.

My question would be: is there any option for direct upgrade from NW701/SEM604 to NW731/SEM736 ?

Or is it required to go for Netweaver 7.30 and SEM-BW 6.34 at first ? And from there upgrade to NW731/SEM736.

It might be much less effort and time to have an one-step upgrade (compared against two consecutive upgrades).

Many thanks and kind regards.

Andreas

    Hi Andreas ,

I would greatly appreciate if you had answer to the question raised by you for an direct upgarde instead of a step up upgrade i.e to upgrade to 7.02 and bring the SEM-BW to 605 and then move to the NW7.31 and SEM-BW to 736 .

Please pass on the technical information on your upgarde path .

Thanks for your time in advance .

    Regards,
