Incorrect condition record triggered

Former Member

Hi experts,

We got some issue with the pricing as a single occurance. The price is maintained through the condition type (Pr00) which is for basic price. In condition record price is maintained  in table 635.(for plant 5208. 38151 INR and for Plant 5101 is 30749)  I used condition table as (price list+ material+ plant). while making sales order for plant (5208) the price was taken for plant (5101) .

In the sale order created for Plant 5208, upon clicking the analysis button for condition PR00, the price for plant 5208 is shown but price brought into the condition is of plant 5101.

This has happened only one time. Documents created on previous day and subsequent day has the correct price for plant 5208.

looking for your expert advise

thanks,

Sunny Sourav

Hello,

the order is already invoiced we can't update the price .although i have checked almost all the possibilities, we already raised the debit memo to the customer for the same but i was wondering why it happened like that and how it can be prevent to occur again in future .

Thnks.

Sunny,

How did the user find out this case?

There could be other cases which have not been detected.

I would not spend time on researching the reason for this as this has happened for only one item. Just overwrite the pricing or change the plant at line item and bring back the original plant to pull the correct pricing. It is not worth spending much time on this.

Shiva,

Thanks for your view (of not worth spending time)!

Just overwrite the pricing

Please explain how to do the above?

In the case that it is not allowed to change the value of this condition type manually.

Sunny,

Please check (again),

1. the sales order & the line item - which plant is maintained?

As every line item in the sales order can have a different delivering plant.

2. compare the value in the sales order with the value in the condition record (for the correct / same plant)

3. In the sales order, at item level, Tab Conditions, click on button Update, choose pricing type B. and check the value of the condition type.

4. create a new sales order, with plant 5208 and check the value of the condition type.

This has happened only one time

Documents created on previous day and subsequent day has the correct price for plant 5208

Since you yourself have indicated that the issue is only with one sale order, we cannot find out why it has happened.  May be you can go to condition screen, select that condition type and click on blue lens at the bottom left so that you will get some clue.
