Hi,
I am trying to add FSV to depreciation areas in OAYN. However, they are not visible.
Please note they are not derived depreciation areas. They are real depreciation areas.
I cannot add any new depreciation areas as there is "New Entries" button available.
Is there any reason why the real depreciation areas are not visible in OAYN.
Thanks in advance for your inputs.
Regards,
Ravi
Dear Ravi,
I am sure you must have checked this already but still some time we overlook things, are you sure you are not in display mode only, as some time this screen open directly in display mode and then we need to change mode.
and your id has the authroziation to do change ? as I check in my DEV system, it is allowing me to do changes on Financial Statement version on OAYN.
Still am checking, will update you.
Thanks,
Nishan Dev

Thanks Nishan,
I was about to write I have solved this issue.
I have deleted the depreciation areas and recreated by copying from the original existing depreciation areas (where there is no problem). This has automatically solved the issue and they are available in OAYN.
Thanks for your time and reply.
Best Regards,
Ravi
Thanks Ravi,
I am looked at all of my environment but was unable to recreate the issue.
Yes creating depreciation area from strach is always have show an issue, but error are not smart error which can point out the issue, but we often get issue, if we dont follow SAP steps which they stronging recommend to copy from existing and make changes, due to strong rational database relationship between table, this kind of hidden error come up later on the path.
I am glad you are able to solve it and shared the result with us, so we can be careful now
Thanks again,
Nishan Dev
