deduction of leave happening on holiday

Former Member

Hello friends,

System is deducting leave on holiday as well. In IT2001 -absences if an employee is taking leave for 2 days i.e 1st and 3rd of oct then system is deduction leave of 2nd oct also from Quota, which should not happen ideally.

I have made changes in Table t556c for all the Emp. group and Per. subarea grp. but now scenario is working for all the Pers. sub area except 4. Customization is same for all then why changes are not reflecting for all the PSA.

Please suggest.

thanks

Hi there,

Please check counting rule in T556C using transaction SM30:

Tick 'not on public holiday'

Hi Will,

This change is not making the thing work. I have already done these changes.

Ranu,

Have you also unticked the other holiday classes as per yellow.com's advice?

Hi Ranu,

If you already done with my 2nd screen shot and if you are still facing any problem,

Please also check with Counting Rule once more, because there might have one more sub-rule maintained under the same Counting rule like below.

Example:

Counting Rule: 001 - Sequence number- 001

Counting Rule: 001 - Sequence number- 002

Counting Rule: 001 - Sequence number- 003

Dear Ranu,

Provide screen shot of counting rule and holiday class defined for that holiday so that one can help you easily by checking the entries.

Problem is with T556C table, just select "Not a Public Holiday" in the List and uncheck all other Holiday classes. your problem will be solved.

Hi Ranu,

What is the Unit you have maintained for this absence type in the table: V_T554S   ?

Have you tick against Holiday Class, Not a public holiday in the table:  T556C  ?

And please also check if there are any other rules assigned for this counting rule ?

Please let me know the above details.

Hi Ranu,

In-fact it has to be "K". You have maintained it correct.

Now check with your counting rule.

As mentioned in my second screen shot.

Hi Ranu,

Could you please check, What Holiday class is maintained for particular Holiday you are talking about in Public Holiday confg and accordingly check whether the same Holiday class is being ticked in t556c table or not.

Secondly you should check, What work schedule EE has got in 0007 and see the work schedule class for particular DWS of work schedule rule.

same work schedule class should also be checked in t556c.

You should check as well V_503_ALL & V_001P_ALL

Hope this should help.

Thanks and regards

Priya.

Hi Ranu,

Kindly look at grouping in the table V_001P_D and V_001P_I in SM30. Check for the mentioned PSA.

The groupings are same everywhere and setting for the resp. grouping is also same in T556C. Still is is deducting leaves from quota for a holiday.

Hi,

Counting rules is the combination of

1)Employee Subgroup Grouping for Time Quota Types

2)Grouping of Personnel Subareas for Time Quota Types

Check once both groupings are proper for the employee, check once V_503_ALL & V_001P_ALL

Check your configuration in table view V_T666C for all ESG Groupings and PSA Groupings.

Next, if the absence was created before the configuration change, you should access the absence in Maintenance mode, click on a field and do "Enter" to modify the Quota Deduction (you should be able to see the change on screen) and save the Infotype.  If you have more than one to do, then you may want to use program RPTBPC10 (t-code PT_BPC10) to make the Quota Corrections.
