Hello all,
maybe i´m a little bit blind, i can´t find the variable for the "Permanent Remarks for Printing" in the Advanced Layout Manager.
Thanks
André
ehm... i don´t understand really...
I want to print the Field "Permanent Remarks for Printing" witch is found under Administration->System Initialization->Print Preferences. I just cant find this variable in the Advanced Layout Manager. Maybe its renamed there the original Name is "remark".

Once you have the ALD open for the document layout you creating, you can insert a text field which will serve as a permenant remark for that document or BP.
You van position it and size the text bow as you desire.
I uforutnately have not found the "perm remark for print" within the ALD and this works quite well.
When the ALD is activated, all std print functionality within system initial--> print pref becomes null and void.
aha. thats means i´m not blind ;-). the variable doesn´t exist here. Thank you

Hi Andre
You can use a static text field with your remarks.
Or create a word doc and import as an OLE container.
Or formatted text box.
Hope this helps.

Kiran
