BI_CONT - Error in XPRA_EXECUTION

Hi,

We are facing an issue while upgrading the BI_CONT as per note

Note 1558363 - BI_CONT 7.06: Information about installation and upgrade

The source Release for BI_CONT is : 704 SP 5

Target release BI_CONT 706 SP 05.

But as per note we have to apply intermediate patch SAPK-705DHINBICONT before we go to 706 SP5.

While applying the patch BI_CONT 705 SAPK-705DHINBICONT we got an error

in XPRA_EXECUTION phase.

In order to find out the detailed error message please apply SAP Note 1546842.

In general once you apply this note you get the detailed error  message like "Sourcesystem XYZ does not exist". If this is the case then please refer SAP Note 1564964.

Hello Girish,

In the after import methode RS_DTRF_AFTER_IMPORT you are only
getting the error "An exception has occurred".
In order to see the real error, please implement following note:

  #1546842 - Message SY530 in the transport log RS_DTRF_AFTER_IMPORT

After that please re-run the XPRAS_UPG.
In most cases other customers got the error message:
"Sourcesystem XYZ does not exist".

Please check if the sourcesystem is really not connected to your BW
system. If you do not need that sourcesystem you can use function module
RSAR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_DELETE to delete it.

Before you run this funtion module, please apply following note:

  #1336119 - Technical correction for deletion of orphaned objects

Please use this function module very carefully!
