few times the characteristics in Selection (Interactive Planning (/SAPAPO/SDP94))

Hello Experts,

i tried my best.. but do not have a clue how to solve this problem.

i am working with the Interactive Planning (/SAPAPO/SDP94). as you can see on the screenshot: the characteristics are shown a few times.

I just want to have every characteristic (APO - Produkt) only one time in the selection.

How is this possible?!

Thanks for your effort.I really appreciate it.

Holger

Hi Holger,

You need to just adjust the selection field (characteristic) settings. Please check the following screenshots for details.

1. Accessing default selection field settings

2. Select required field, save settings, and hit continue

3. Verify the display:

Hi Rajesh,

a. I can see Holger's screen shot but not yours. Can you please try different format or paste and attach in a word doc?

b. Also, if have a drill down from country to product type, can I see both as columns, or all of the characteristics involved in a drill-down path? currently, the drill down path is shown but the only the last characteristic is shown.

Hi John,

1. I can see only one screenshot that too only with the post associated with Holger's question. The response does not show any of the screenshots. However, it's quite easy and you can figure out the steps from the available screenshot.

  • Access the selected objects section (top right hand corner) and hit menu button selection fields (available in the same menu button row where you can access the shuffler).
  • From the pop up window, Select only required fields for instance you may need only short description (i.e. TXTSH)
  • Hit save and continue buttons in the window.

2. The selection fields depends on the context object and doesn't show up those belong to the upper level objects in the drill-down path. You may need to implement user exit or BAdI to have required display.

Thanks,

Rajesh

Thank you, Rajesh. One final thing:

2. If you can point me to the name of the user-exit or the BAdI, that'd be awesome.

Hi Sap Apo,

You can use BAdI /SAPAPO/SDP_SELECTOR to control the selection condition, object hit list, and display of selection area. But, it might be difficult to extend this BAdI for dependent objects or drill down and show up the attributes of mixed objects.

Thanks,

Rajesh
