Is there a replacement or a way to call BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT when using cl_gui_alv_grid?

I am not clear with your question,

but how to call ‘BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT’

1.Add ‘BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT’ to the ALV event

2.In the Form do the process you want too

And it will be triggered before writing the first line.

I'd like to use an event BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT (which was available with the grid FM) with cl_gui_alv_grid, which does not appear to allow this as an event to trigger.

What I need to do is change the contents of the total line produced by the grid.
