Question on "Personalize web template"

Hi,

We are enabling the option "Personalize the web tempalte" for our web queries. We do not like one thing in it though.

When we run a query with a set of variable values and personalize this template on a view of the query, and then, when we try to run the query again, it does return to the view (what we like), but, it is personalizing the variables also (a big no no).

If we run the query one month ago with a date value, and if we run it today, it returns the dataset as of the old date. which we dont like. Is there any way that we force the variable screen to showup even when the query has been personalized?
