Creating Web Service in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 2.0.11

When trying to create a Web Service from a java class, the Creation Wizard doesen't see the methods that I would like to expose from the class. Therefore when the screen to select the methods is reached there are no methods to select there. Also of note in the Java perspective all methods are availible in the outline view. But in the Web Services perspective within the Java Explorer View there are no methods within the classes? Is this a bug or something I've done wrong? Thx in advance...
