Hi Experts,
We are trying to create Webi Reports using BOBJ 4 directly connecting to Bex Query but what is confusing me about the best practice regarding the same.
We are planning to completely build the Bex Report according to our requirement and do a 1:1 mapping to Webi. But I am not sure what will be ther rework effort if later the Bex query is changing then how much effort will be required to reflect the same in WEBI reports.
what is the best practice with respect to the same? Should we ONLY build the webi once we are 100% done with the Bex report or we can start simultaneously building the same.
A quick reply will be appreciated.

Hi,
I have been documenting the integration limitations that I have faced in such projects.

the best way is to build more queires then webi's.. but if you are going to dashbaord from there then do them directly in dash boards instead of WEBi ( on small Data). if you are going to do filtering and drill in reports through Webi then do QWAAS through Webi and bring all items in your report block.. have schedule instances on it ...and have your filters available in your instances..
good luck

Hello,
It is best to be 100% done with the BeX query then built the webi report based on it. As any change in the Bex query will result to incompatible objects in the webi report and will give you various errors in the webi report itself.
