Legend order changes when a Webi report is exported to Excel

Hi Everyone,

We are showing a Stack Chart with Contribution Quantity on Y axis and Months on the X axis .

The chart is coming absolutely fine in report with legends in descending order , but when the report is saved as excel the sort order of legends is changed to ascending .

Please note that this problem is not occurring while saving it to PDF  and also the line chart is also there which also shows correct legend order while exporting to excel .

We have tried scheduling the report with output format to excel , but it did not work too .

Any help is greatly appreciated .

Hello.

Unfortunately this issue is by-design

There's no way to export the legend in multiple columns to Excel format.  However, the legend can be adjusted in Excel.

Alternately, you can copy the whole chart to the Excel sheet, but you'll not be able to edit the chart in Excel because the chart is treated as an image.
