Control on Vendor Downpayment

Understanding that we're able to add downpayment to transaction ME21N at header and item level by activating function LOG_MMFI-P2P.

Anyone know does this new features control user from editing PO value if edited PO value less than posted downpayment amount? Will system give warning or error message?
