Crystal Reports 2010 Web Viewer Can Grow Potential Bug

I'm currently creating a Crystal Report using Visual Studio 2010. I'm on an 64-bit machine and I have the 64-bit Crystal Reports Runtime on my machine. All of the text fields I set to use Can Grow are not wrapping in the web viewer, but when I export the report to PDF the text wraps properly. The row that the data is in grows to fit the text but the text just runs off the screen horizontally. I have attached a screenshot of the problem.

Is this a bug in the Crystal Reports web viewer or am I just missing a setting?

Hi Chrictopher,

                     After reading your post,it seems to me that you are exporting data from a SAP environment to non-SAP environment. Right?

In this process I would suggest you to co-ordinate with your BASIS or ABAP guy.may be they can give you some pointers on this process. As it requires some source to destination kind of settings.

So please check with your technical guys and let us know.

This appears to be a bug in Crystal Reports 13.0.4 for Visual Studio 2010. I downgraded to version 13.0.3 and the problem is gone. I think this post is in the wrong forum, it might help to move it to http://scn.sap.com/community/crystal-reports-for-visual-studio/content

Hi Christopher,

We have identified issues with web viewer in SP4, which will get fixed in SP5.

This could be one of them.

Roll back to SP3 till SP5 come out.
