SE91 , increase text length

Hello,

I have a Z message class.

The messages are in english.

Message length is 73.

I have to translate those messages into German. The text is longer than 73 charcters.

How to do in order to increase the text length in message class in SRM?

Your have 73 characters in every message, if you insert (&) -maximum four-, and replace every (&) into your abap program for every sentence that you need.  73 x 4 =  292 characters.

I suppose that is enough,  especially if this is Z message.

I think You are Using this Message in Programs Only.

When i click on the message class name or the message class texts and check where used, i got nothing.

Is there another way to proceed?

For example:

Goto Tx:SE91.

Display

in the message tab:

Message Number            Message Short text

0001                             Project-Purchasing organization link & - & is used in part &.

If your text is more than 73 then Use & as mentioned in the above example message. These & represents the dynamic values.
