Incompletion Log for Chapter Id in Sales Order

Dear All,

We have a requirement that if chapter id is missing then the sales order should be incomplete.

How to configure this.

Kindly share your valuable suggestions.

Can you please let me know currently, in which tax procedure your client are into ?  Also, where this Chapter ID is maintained ?  In J1ID ?   Nevertheless, I dont think, this can be achieved through incompletion log.  Through user exit, it is possible.

TAXINN tax procedure.Chapter ID is maintained in J1ID.

Through Userexit, the sales order can be incomplete?

Which Userexit we need to use.Kindly help me.

J1ID will not work for TAXINN for standard CIN process.  Nevertheless, since you have to go for user exit, you can try with USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP  in program MV45AFZB where you need to validate the field J_1ICHID in table J_1IMTCHID should not be blank.

Dear All,

We used userexit_move_field_to_vbap and set the item level delivery block(schedule line category) if chapter id is missing.

Hence closing the thread.

Hi Azeez,

             The message that is dispalyed is 8I001 which is the SAP stanadard Message which shows as Information,this can be set as Error Message in SE91 with Abaper Help.
