Hide/show ALV using button

Hi,

I have a requirement where I need to hide or show ALV on click of a button.

If button is clicked when alv is shown, alv should be hidden.

If button is clicked when alv is hidden, alv should be displayed.

I am using alv oops.

I have checked if there is any method similar t refresh_table_display to hide the complete ALV but could not find any.

Please suggest me how to proceed.
