Hi We are currently on EhP6.0 and trying to configure LTI plans for the same. But while doing so the values are not getting populated in the columns and we checked and rechecked the Configuartions as given in SAP press book or otehrwise. Kindly guide as to why these fields are not getting populated For eg there are no appraisal ratings in the LTI tab when the same appraisal rating can be seen for the Salary Adjustment Plan. PFa the screen shots for the same

Thanks & Regards

Hi Stuti,

Couple of possibilities - First check the Function Modules assigned to these columns.  See if they are looking to a particular date record for the Performance Appraisals, for example.  Then check the date attributes of the LTI Review and the LTI Item.  It may be that the LTI period is outside the reporting period for the Appraisals.

Another possibility is that the individual you are showing is not eligible for an LTI Award.  If the individual is not eligible for a specific award, the data columns will not be filled in for that employee for that award.

For LTI, we have a number of custom tables behind the scenes to determine type of award, Options or Restricted Stock, targets and overrides.  Thus, the Function Modules for the columns look to these tables and they are date specific.  You are showing the employee name and position in the LTI view, so it is bringing in these standard columns.  Again, the Function Modules behind your custom columns should be checked.

Finally, the tables V_T71ADM28, V_T71ADM29 and V_T71ADM30 may be used to display your custom columns.  Have you tried to utilize these?

Hope this helps.

Hi Vidya,

Please explain more as to what columns you are missing and you want to display.  Below is an example of our LTI planning screen as seen by the manager:

As I said before, there are some custom tables and function modules behind some of these columns, so the may be some programming required depending on your requirements.

Hi Paul,

Thank you very much for the repsonse Paul.

The issue is exactly the same as the one mentioned above bt Stuti.

Further, I dont want to go for custom fields as its a demo environment and customization has to be kept at bare minimum. Only the values in the standards fields should be populated.

I have even maintained the LTI Budget. Compensation planning for Salary adjustment has been working absoultely fine.. The LTI is the new thing that has been configured recently. Kindly advise.

Many thanks!

Hi Vidya,

From your screen shot, the immediate problem is the individual shown is "Not eligible" for Long Term Incentives.  Check IT0758 - is there a current infotype with the proper program groupings to make this person eligible?  Is it start dated before the start of the review period?  Then verify this person meets the requirements set up in the Eligibility Rules - T71ADM13 and in T71ADM10 for the Review (waiting period and eligibility dates).  Also, the Program Groupings and set up in T71ADM07 must include the LTI plan.

You will not see any column entries for ineligible individuals.  Once you can clear this problem, we can then look at the individual columns for proper entries.

Thanks a ton Paul for your suggestion, it has worked!

However, I am now getting a weird error on No Entry in Table T71LTI06 for CSTK, although the entry is already been maintained in the backend..

Moreover, the budget and the number field is also blank.

Kindly advise,

Further, it would be great if you can share your contact details so that I can mail you all my concerns at one shot.

Many thanks!

Hi Vidya,

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish with T71ADM06.  Looks like you are saying CSTK is equal to STCK  and then STCK is equal to CSTK.  If there are no stock splits or other adjustments, T71ADM06 is not needed.  We have no entries in T71ADM06.

As to the budgets, these are set up in VV_T7PM3_ECM, VV_T7PM9_B_V2, V_T71BDG01, HR_ECM_00_BG_007 and the guidelines in V_T71ADM17.  After setting up the budget attributes, the guidelines will determine the numbers that appear in the budget column.  Make sure that the person meets the guideline groupings and that a guideline amount is available.  You should also be using column ECM_EE_BDGT.

Contact information is available in my profile.
