Sender REST to PROXY performance issue while handling large files

Hi All,

Currently we have a scenario Sender REST to PROXY.The REST adapter is picking the files of data size 500MB and sending it to proxy after Mapping transformation.

We are facing performance issue in this scenario.Could you please help how can we increase the performance or Is there any way to build the scenario to handle these large data files.

Please provide your valuable inputs ?

Hello Sahitihi,

You are saying a file size of 500 MB. Is it a file adapter or you are using REST adapter? Do you mean to say the PI message Size is around 500 MB?

I assume the error is being thrown in your SAP system which you are sending the files to via SAP Proxy and you found the error in ST22?

If so, you would need to check your implemented proxy in that SAP system in conjunction with the file you are sending. My assumption is there is some poorly written code in that proxy implementation and we would need that code copied to analyse it.

I will update this answer when more information is provided.

When the interface is running the heap memory is getting full and throwing dump.
