How to Access BEx Query with BI Java SDK

Hi Experts,

I use BI Java SDK on NetWeaver 7.3 to develop a custom BW reporting interface.

Everything works fine - I'm able to receive all cubes and schemes of the BW system using SSO.

I can even get the cube for a BEx query - exactly as described in the developers guide for BI Java SDK.

My problem is: whenever I try to get the dimensions of this cube, I did not receive anything.

I can only receive the dimensions of the cube of the underlying multi-provider.

Do I have to declare the dimensions of the BEx-Query in order to see them via BI Java SDK?

Did anybody succeed in getting results from a BEx-Query via BI-Java SDK?
