SP06 Upgrade using SUM Tool

Dear All,

Scenario: Running SUM tool to perform SP06 upgrade.

I have 2 SIDs in my solman host, TR1 and SMT. SMT is the solution manager system.

When I am running the SUM tool, during the Extraction phase I am getting below error.

ERROR: The procedure needs a patched version of R3trans which is build on 28.07.08 or later.

The R3trans in your active SAP kernel is either older or the version could not be determined.

Download the latest executable available from the SAP Service Marketplace and update it in

"E:\usr\sap\TR1\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64" before you continue.

Question here is, why does the SUM tool is detecting the R3trans version of TR1 system instead of SMT system?

SMT system is recently patched with latest kernel.

How do I stop SUM from detecting R3trans version of TR1 system?

Regards

Vivek
