LSO: Description Infotype (1002) in Portal

Dear experts,

When we maintain infotype 1002 for a course / business event type / business event group, this info appears in the Learning Portal.

Is there any way to restrict the display in the Learning portal to only a few selected subtypes? As we would like to make use of the description infotype to store other course / business event type / business event group information (free text) that we do not want shown in ESS.

Please help.
