VBOF run gives a pricing error

Hi Experts,

Today I noticed that the sceduled VBOF run resulted in a few errors. While updating billing documents it gives out an error:

"Pricing error: Mandatory condition ZXYZ is missing"

Now its obvious that the billing document it is trying to update has a condition type ZXYZ not maintained. The reason for this error is that ZXYZ was made mandatory at some point in time and before it was not mandatory.

Is there any way to solve this other than removing a mandatory check from ZXYZ condition?

Hi Ali,

were these invoices created before the rebate agreement was created ?

There are no open documents. The VBOF is actually marking the document current through updating accruals on billing documents. But since these documents are already posted and now have a pricing error, the VBOF is finding that error. I believe if we maintain the condition on old dates and run an update this should in theory update the condition type.

Any configuration change will affect all open documents. Having said this, you cannot process the billing documents without restoring the original configuration settings.
