regarding consolidation in EPM 10

Hi Experts,

I am new to EPM 10 and consolidation. I am trying to study consolidation now, so just wanted to know how different is consolidation in EPM 10.

1. My first question is as far as my understanding goes, In BPC 7.5 there are two types of business rules, one at the global (appset level) and other at the

local level ( adjustment details) to do Inter company elimination. Correct me if I am wrong these two business rules are mapped to get the final result ?

2. Can somebody give me a scenario of a management consolidation. Is only US elimination the only rule used to achieve this ?
