Periodic campaign does not run for activities in campaign automation

Hi All,

I want to create a campaign that runs periodically and creates multiple activities, similar to a recurring or a periodic email campaign.

What I see is the email campaign runs fine periodically (I had given one hour interval)... 

but a similar periodic campaign with a single element creates an activity only once... 

Is it so by standard that we can not create a periodic campaign for an activity??

it is possible to create a periodic campaign for activities. Please provide a print screen of the parameters you entered for the campaign and campaign element.

Hello again,

The parameters you have used look OK.

As you can see from the messages in the campaign details, there is one Job (Start Campaign Process) waiting to be executed, an hour later after the first one.

When this one is executed, then a new message (Send Target Group to Channel) appears in the campaign element view, indicating that the campaign was executed again.

Have you noticed otherwise?

The Job that is in waiting never gets executed and it exits the queue from transaction SWI1.

We are not able to find out why this is happening.
