SAP MSS ADD ON 1.0 Install on SAP ECC EHP6

Hi,

We are trying to install via SAINT/SPAM the MSS ADD On 1.0 on ECC EHP6, even though we are a level above all the prerequisites mentioned in the installation notes, we are getting version compatibility issues. Does any one else has faced these type of issues and resolved with MSS ADD On 1.

From my system:

Then you must download ACP (EAHRMSS_ACP.SAR) file from Note 1576982 - Installation of Add-On EA-HR_MSS 1.0 and upload to SAINT. After this:

You are on EHP5, not EHP6. Your EA-HR and SAP_APPL are both 605, hence you are on EHP5. Anyway you should be able to install the Add-On on top of EHP5. Just make sure the SP level of your components are according to SAP note 1576982.

We have succesfully installed MSS Add-On on top of EHP6 without any issues.

The installation media is the same for EHP5 and EHP6. Search for the media 51040897. Also see SAP note 1576982 for installation instructions.

Firstly check note 1576982 and all appropriate steps are followed specifically

step 4. Installing EA-HR_MSS 1.0

If issues continues and you are attempting this in a restorable test system - for test purposes only do these errors actually prevent installation and use of MSS Add-on ?

If so it could be because this is an EHP5 add-on it is looking for just EHP5 components

As of EHP6 I believe MSS Add-on is included in the HR Renewal 1.0 Add-on - therefore please try installing HR Renewal Add-on instead for an EHP6 system
