Jar file corresponding Development Component

Hi Experts,

NWDS 7.3

Please let me know the correspoding Development Component (along with the Software component) for the below Jar  files.

a)      bc.rf.framework_api.jar

b)      bc.rf.global.service.urlgenerator_api.jar

c)      bc.sf.framework_api.jar

d)      bc.util.public_api.jar

e)      com.sap.security.api.ep5.jar

f)       com.sap.security.api.jar

g)      prtapi.jar

Hi Hussain,

You may be knowing about http://sapjarfinder.com ,

This is a great site to find out the name of the jar files containing the class that you need.

Once you know the path of the jar file.

You can get these jar files from System Admin -->Support -->Support Desk-->browse Deployment.

for e.g. prtapi.jar is under folder WEB-INF/portal/lib.

you can then add these jar files in an external library DC as in link below:

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/194bdc4f-0901-0010-82ba-bf73af5d5...

Thanks Shah,

I am on SAP 7.3 & i didn;t see the support desk under system Admin --> support.

but I got the below  jars from the Basis team. & add them in a used DC as mentioned in the link.

a)      bc.rf.framework_api.jar

b)      bc.rf.global.service.urlgenerator_api.jar

c)      bc.sf.framework_api.jar

d)      bc.util.public_api.jar

g)      prtapi.jar

for the below, i had used the DC tc/je/usermanagement/api from ENGFACADE SC

e)      com.sap.security.api.ep5.jar

f)       com.sap.security.api.jar

Implemented as per the below link.

Hi expert,

I want to upload document in portal KM using WDJ Application.

my NWDS version is 7.3 and Portal server is 7.4 please.

But I am not getting below jar api's :

a)      bc.rf.framework_api.jar

b)      bc.rf.global.service.urlgenerator_api.jar

c)      bc.sf.framework_api.jar

d)      bc.util.public_api.jar

g)      prtapi.jar

do I really need these API's or for portal 7.4 it replaced by another thing like KMC-CM???

please give me step by step procedure to to complete this task.
