Hi Team,
My company new fiscal year starting 01.01.2017 have done these and error
1- AJRW - New fiscal year = 2017
Error - Fiscal year change in co code possible only after year end closing 2015
2- AJAB - Fiscal year to close = 2015
Error - Depreciation not posted completely
3- OAAQ - 2014
I have some assets depreciation which the run should take place in YR 2015 period 12 but it didn't happen and we have run it using unplanned depreciation in YR 2016 period 6 for the YR 2015 period 12 depreciation for certain assets.
How am I suppose to make it success to year 2015?
Thank you.
Hi Sheena,
it is allowed to have my. 2 fiscal years open. Therefore you have to closed 2015.
You cannot close the fiscal year until depr. is not completely posted.
You should follow the steps from note 619969:
1) Re-open fiscal year in FI-GL
(txn OB52)
2) Recalculate values in fixed assets for the whole company code (RAAFAR00).
3) Execute the depreciation posting run (e.g. in special period 13 as an unplanned posting run, that all documents will be
posted)
4) Run program for periodic postings. After processing it in test-mode, execute it as an update-run, even if message "no documents
to post" occur.
5) Process the fiscal year change (RAJAWE00).
6) Process the year end closing (RAJABS00).
This last question I don't understand:

Hi Sheena,
Before open the back period, first you reset the changes for the assets, then do rest of the things mentioned.

Hi,
Yes, you have to reverse that entry. After that run AFAR or AFAB in repeat mode with test run. If there is no values are showing, then close the year 2015 and re post the unplanned depreciation.

Hi Mukthar,
Correct me if i'm wrong. The option that you have given is to open the period 12 for YR 2015 and run AFAR and AFAB in report mode with test run ?
Then if there's no values are showing , then close the YR 2015 and then only i can post the unplanned depreciation entry in YR 2016 using ABAA ?
Please advise.
Thank you.
Regards,
Sheena.
Hi Sheena,
Have you identified the asset for depreciation posting? If it is, then check what changes have been done for it and reset the changes done for the asset. Then it wont post any depreciation. After that close the year and again do changes for the assets.

Mukthar

Hi Sheena,
Do you want to post in yr 2015? If yes, then run AFAB in repeat for period 12,2015. Then after close the year 2015.

Mukthar
