ATP Issue

Hi Gurus,

I need help on ATP
i know that there are so many links on ATP itself but i want to know from the basic How ATP works like i have stock in my plant and i created orders from that plant now how atp defines which order sshould be given prority

also i want to know the prerequistes to obtain ATP method
