Hi experts,
I have a problem in terms of changing scaling factor for all of columns in my report. I found a command in WAD called SET_DATA_CELL_PROPERTIES where I can set some parameters to do that. The problem is that I have to use that for all of columns but it works only when I have just one column and only for this column. As far as I set a further column as parameter it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
Ali
Dear experts,
thanks for your prompt replies.
I don't have any problem with setting the scaling factor in the query and I know how to do it. The problem I have is referring to using and changing that in WAD. I need to change the scaling factor in my web report by using a function to change this for instance from 1 to 1000 or vice versa. I investigate a bit and searched also in SDN forum and I could find out that this is probably not possible to do that with a drop down list but it should work with several buttons. Each button is created for changing to that scaling factor. For example but using button 1000 it should be changed to skf 1000. The function I have to use is SET_DATA_CELL_PROPERTIES. It works fine for just one column of my structure. But as far as I set the second column in this setting I doesn't work anymore. So the question is how to solve this problem here in WAD. It's nothing to do with any setting in query designer because everything is fine there.
That would be great if someone has any idea to that.
Thank you all in advance for the support.
Kind regards,
Ali

Hi Ali,
We have an option to set the scaling factor for each column in the BEx Data Query being used in the Data Provider. You can directly use that query with minor modifications with all the scaling factors intact.
