PR Workflow restarted from first level..

Hi Guys,

I developed a PR workflow which is having multiple levels of approvals. It was working perfectly fine till date in PRD but yesterday got an issue from the client.

There were 8 levels of approvals of PR. After 5 levels were approved, the workflow restarted from the first level and first approver again received workitem in his SAP inbox to approve the PR.

This issue is not seen every time but is happening occassionally with the client.

Can anybody please let me know or suggest me the ways to sort this issue.

Hello Richa ,

my apology for so late  reply .

As both Anjan and rick  suggested,there must be definitely some changes done in PR which has caused the workflow notification triggered and the approval process started from the first .

please check  through event trace based on PR's workflow's particular date and time what are the change activites carried  out during that particular instance.you can try to find this using SWU3 customization checking.

Also you can use SWELS transaction by switching on the event trace.

There must be something you can find ,to get the root cause .

Hello,

As stated above, look for any *CHANGE* events in SWEL (if you have it turned on), that would restart the approval process.

hI,

  Just check is there any significant change in price . May be after 5 th level price change so big, due to configuration its started from 1st levell
