Install developer studio on server?

Hello.

We are getting ready to downlad and install Netweaver Developer Studio and were wondering if it were possible to install one instance on a server for all our developers to use, or if it needs to be installed separately on each developer's pc.

Hi Chris,

NDS is required on each machine of the developers. Developers can use there own local server instances or they can use only one central J2ee server instance.

But, NDS is seperate for each developer on their own machine.

Hi Chris,

NWDS should be on induvidual dovelopers PC, but they can have WAS Server Local installed or Remote one,dovelopers can devlop and run applications in sever.

NWDS is to devlop induvidual applications,but you can share your workspaces if you install JDI.

Hi,

J2EE engine can be on one server.

Developer Studio has to be installed in all the PCs, but you can share the workspaces from server where the J2EE engine is installed.

I doubt that, I think you need to install a copy for each developer.
