SAP BPC 10.0 NW - Delete excel formulas

Hello Experts,

I have both "Keep formula on data" chekboxes selected (inside Edit Report and inside Sheet Options) and in my computer when I refresh the workbook the formulas are not deleted, but in other computers, also with the same version of EPM add-in the formulas are deleted.

Any ideas?

Hi Nadine,

You should have the keep formula on data selected and the last 2 options also selected in the same tab.

Hello @nadine martins,

I'm not sure if this question is aswered, but just to confirm that if you set in both places (sheet option and report sheet options) those settings the Report keeps the excel based formula and allows to save data into the data base.

I don't understand why but now that I opened the workbook for the second time in the new computer the formulas weren't deleted and I also have tested in other computers and the formulas remain.

So I guess the solution is to put the keep formula on data and also the last 2 options and it works.

Hello Guys,

I've tried to put the last 2 options selected as you said Nilanjan but no results.

Rohit, the report is static. I've created the report with Insert new member functionality and so the values of some cells are coming from input forms and others are just excel formulas. When I open the report in my computer everything works, when I try to open it in other computers the Excel formulas are deleted...

Do you have any ideia of what is happening?

Is it a report or an input form?

Is it saved on the BPC server?

Is it saved as xltx?

Hi Nadine, I would suggest to try one more thing. Please use 'other user' system and try open same report using your credentials. This way you will know the direction of your issue, also please check if it is correctly saved in the server root folder and date reflecting their (file creation date) is same as reflecting in yours and others.

Nadine, how does the construction of worksheet looks like...the formula might be deleting if it is Dynamic input form and the formual is not copied correctly. However your worksheet should work fine if its Static input form\Report and if those option (as mentioned in your note) are selected.
