SUP 2.1.2 - Deployment Error .

Former Member

Hello Experts ,

We are facing issue deploying sup projects to unwired server 2.1.2.

On checking logs we could find these :-

In Domain Logs :-

Error=DataServices: **Parsing Error** Line: -1  URI:  null  Message: cvc-id.1: There is no ID/IDREF binding for IDREF 'Customer' .

In Server Logs :-

INFO MMS Thread-292 [com.sybase.sup.server.deploy.DeploymentLog]DataServices: Validation failed

There was also one zip file which was corrupted in servers/unwiredserver/repository/filename.zip .

We followed solution mentioned here http://scn.sap.com/thread/3153241 but it did not resolve the problem .

This is not project specific because it is throwing up same issue for all sup projects .Also same project when we try deploying on other server it works .

How can we tackle this .

Thanks ,

Amit .

hi,

For this issue, follow the below steps:

1. deletethe existing package on scc.

2. delete all the package related files in sybase installation folder and restart the sybase unwired service.

3. Now deploy the project it will work out(happens mainly due to jco caching).

Hi RakeshKumar ,

Thanks for your reply .

Should we delete all existing packages in SCC and sybase installation folder ?

Can we take a backup of all packages , restart services and then try deploying.

If it works then can we import all packages again ?

Thanks ,

Amit .

Hi Rakesh,

Thanks .

We are not facing issue for any particular package .It throws up same error for any proj we try to deploy .

There was one corrupted zip file in sybase installation directory which we have removed .Restarted system , created new workspace and new project but it is still throwing up same error while deploying .

Thanks ,

Amit .

Hi Venkatesan ,

Under sybase installation directory there will be one corrupted zip file .Delete that , restart your server and then try deploying .

I am assuming that you are trying to deploy from 2.1.2 to 2.1.2 and not from 2.1.3 to 2.1.2 .( i.e version hierarchy is correct )

Hope this helps .
