Hi,
I have the plan for my parent material demand today on 04.10.2012 where in the system has triggered the pld orders for this requirement with the production start dates as today and the planning start date as today. There is no issue in it.
The problem is for the next level of product which is assigned to this parent material where in the dates of planned order that was triggered is on 04.10.2012 only but if i get the details of the planned order in MD12 the date shown is future I dont know why it is planned for future, (ie) my basic start date is today and plnd open date is also today and ord.finish date is also today but the production dates for the start and ord finish is showing the date of tommorrow due to this my raw material planning inward delivery date on sch lines lies on 05 october 2012.
Kindly get me the reason for this root cause and make me to inward on todays date for the sch lines on raw material.Any help could be surely rewared with points.
Regards,
Deepak GS

Hi,
Exception Message 64 is the Effect and not the Cause. Please check the following points in your Material Master and Routing:
1. SMK- Schedule Margin Keys (check the Floats and see the float of Opening period)
2. Production Finish Date is calculated based on Routing time and this time is much higher than In House Processing time (MRP2 view of Material Master)
3. Check whether the Order has to be Rescheduled in
As the system uses the order finish date in the planning run, this situation may lead to material shortages if production is not finished until the production finish date calculated by the system

Hi,
Please check the Schedule Margin Key for the Component Material in MM02 MRP2 view. Check the Floats and that will help.

Hi Deepak,
For FG , by default system does backward scheduling . So if your requirement date is 5th Oct 2012 then it will go back to determine order start date . It will add GR processing time + In house production time + opening period from sch margin key .
Inhouse prod time is generally lot size dependent and you can to update it from routing also .
For ROH its addition of Planned delivery time + GR processing time + purchasing dept processing time
Thanks.
